Terms and Conditions

Expedition booking policies, catch-and-release rules, permit protocols, and Himalayan river safety guidelines.

1. Expedition Bookings & Reservations

All bookings for angling and rafting expeditions with Nepal Fishing require confirmation through our reservation system. Given the logistics of remote Himalayan river travel—including charter flights, national park angling permits, and safety kayaker dispatch—reservations are subject to seasonal river flow and government clearance.

2. Catch & Release Protocol

Nepal Fishing strictly enforces a 100% catch-and-release policy for Golden Mahseer (Tor putitora) and Giant Goonch (Bagarius yarrelli). Single barbless hooks and wet-hand fish handling are mandatory across all our river systems to conserve native Himalayan fisheries.

3. River Safety & Guide Authority

Wilderness whitewater angling carries inherent objective hazards. All participants must adhere to instructions issued by our certified swiftwater rescue masters and lead expedition guides at all times on the water.

4. Cancellations & Weather Adjustments

In instances of extreme monsoon run-off, landslides, or glacial outbursts, trips may be re-routed to alternative river basins or rescheduled without loss of expedition credit.
